SPECIAL CAMPAIGN: Storm Destroys Students' Residence in Brazil

Photo of the damage at the students' residence in Manaus, BrazilA couple of weeks ago, we received a desperate email from our students in Brazil. Apparently, a severe storm had kicked up and swept through their town. When it was all over, their residence was completely destroyed. The roof had been torn off. The walls knocked down. And there was debris everywhere. The students were unhurt, thank God. But their lives went from quiet study and contemplation to absolute devastation in a matter of minutes.

We're asking our friends for help. As you can see from the photos, the damage is quite extensive. Early estimates put the number at roughly $100,000. We know that is a lot of money. Our initial request was for $35,000. By the grace of God, a number of generous souls have already donated $20,000. We are incredibly grateful! But we still desperately need another $15,000 to take care of our immediate needs.

We know times are very tough for people everywhere. If we didn't have to ask, believe me, we wouldn't. But if you can possibly help, please make a donation. On behalf of our displaced students in the Amazon, thank you and God bless...
